1950s Artek Children s Chair, N65 by Aino and Alvar Aalto for Artek in Birch Hot on Sale

This is a set of five Artek N65 Children’s Chairs, initially designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto in 1935. This particular set dates to the 1950s. The chairs were produced in Finland and feature the classic bent-birch plywood construction that Aalto is known for. The seats are finished in a red laminate. The listed price includes the set of 5.

Each chair measures 15 inches deep, 14 inches wide, and 23.5 inches tall. They have a seat height of 15 inches. We have intentionally left the frames in their original condition. The wood has myriad nicks and scratches, and they show wear along the edges. The red laminate has some marks, rubs & scratches. Overall, these chairs are in good vintage condition with some wear apparent. Please see photos.
