Listed for sale is a circa 1970s production Pipistrello table and floor lamp designed by renowned architect Gae Aulenti, produced by Martinelli Luce in Italy. This is a classic design by Aulenti and one that has been gaining significant recognition recently. Condition overall is terrific with some wear and patina from use over the years. The lamp is working and has a plug for US outlets.
The lamp has a telescoping core, which changes the height from 24.5 to 34 inches. It can therefore be used as a table lamp or low floor lamp. The shade diameter is 22 inches and is made from acrylic.
